The Age Of Aquarium

Today, the Mrs. and I went to the Newport Aquarium in Newport, Kentucky. On the way there I saw 4 horses, 2 dogs, a dead raccoon, a squirrel, an unidentifiable dead animal and a decapitated skunk. The skunk was kind of creepy because it’s headless body was about a half of a mile down the road from it’s head, not sure how that was accomplished, most have gotten stuck in someone’s undercarriage and dragged for half a mile. Anyway, the aquarium was pretty awesome, it was full of sharks, penguins, and turtles.

Here are some pictures:

The outside of the aquarium

It was directly across the river from Cincinnati, in what is the least trashy part of Kentucky I have ever visited.

This is some weird crayfish that looked like the way that things that are supposed to glow in the dark do in the daytime.

A pufferfish with a creepy smile that kept smiling at me suggestively.

A giant Japanese Spider Crab, these things will haunt you in your nightmares.

Thundercage will also haunt you in your nightmares.

A huge 100+ year old turtle that may or may not have been dead.

One of many alligators, this one looked particularly hungry for human flesh.

The shark tunnel, this was pretty awesome, giant ass sharks swim over your head and you can mock them because they are behind glass.

Haha, stupid shark, you can’t eat me!

Am I not turtle enough for the turtle club? Yes, I just quoted Master of Disguise.

After the aquarium, we went to a seafood restaurant and ate a bunch of the sea creatures that we had just visited.

And then I ordered this giant delicious dessert called a “shark fin” and got diabetes.

The End.
